I received my photo blanket earlier today. Already have it washed and I have it across my lap as I’m writing this :D. The autographed hardcover copy of DiAnn Mills’ new book also came today!
We had to take my car to the shop yesterday. I got it back today [YAY]. And they think they’ve fixed what’s causing it to just cut off. The mirror that fell off was also put back on and the turn signal that was underneath and burnt out was replaced. I like our car guy.
Saturday one of my sister in laws got married. It’s a good thing she wanted a family only wedding as the family is rather large as is 😛 but that’s what they wanted. They’re planning a drop in reception next month that will allow friends to come and congratulate them and so forth.
Now Thursday evening on a long drive, I complained to my husband that I had nothing new to wear for the wedding. For weeks, he’s been saying we had time. At this point, we were kinda out of time. So Friday night, we went by Walmart and found it. It was a black dress with white flowers on it. The dress had straps but it worked great to put a shirt over it and then it appeared to be a shirt/skirt combo. I think it looked pretty good on me. It also twirls.
